Brennan Ditch Information

Construction will soon start for a 2.25-mile stretch of Drennan Ditch to improve water quality and improve flood storage capacity. The County’s contractors will remove an estimated 13,500 tons of sediment from the ditch bed from the start of Drennan Ditch just east of S. Raab Rd. to N. Meilke Rd. They will also construct a two-stage ditch on the north side of the first 840 linear feet of Drennan Ditch. View PDF for More Information.


Public Notice — Trash Pickup

Spencer Township has decided to provide weekly waste pick up for its residence. Klumm Brothers Waste Solutions is excited to have been selected as the exclusive waste provider! We have been in business since 1989 and are a locally owned and operated company in Spencer Township. We look forward to servicing each resident with a personal touch. Klumm Brothers will service the township on Thursdays. We ask that you have your can out by 7am. Klumm Brothers will provide everyone a 48-gallon or 96-gallon totter trash bins. Additional bins are available for rent $20.00. per year should you need additional bins! If you have any questions, comments, or issues please contact us! On the first Thursday of each month you can put ONE bulk item out with your trash. Should you need to put out more bulk items then one we ask that you contact us and pay per item before the pickup. Klumm Brothers will deliver your new can on December 28th or 29th. We will give everyone a 96-Gallon bin unless you call 419-829-3166 and request a smaller 48-gallon bin. Your new bin will be placed at the end of your driveway. Your first pick up day will be on January 7th.


2021 Dumpster Days Announced

Mark your calendars! Spencer Township is proud to announce the 2021 Dumpster Days dates. This year we will hold Dumpster Days in the Spring and again in the Fall. The dates below are on Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
Spring: April 9 & 10
Fall: October 8 & 9
Residents please keep in mind like at past events, proof of residency is required. This event is not permitted for commercial or industrial business use or a substitute for refuse collection.
